Are humorous cards appropriate for thank yous?

It depends on what you're thanking them for. If it's a job interview, probably not. If it's for a gift, perhaps. If you're trying to cover all the bases, go with your standard formal "Thank You" card in neutral tones and then add funnny messages inside to the appropriate people.

I don't think so at all. Lots of people like a touch of humor in thank you cards, as long as they're appopriate.
