Bettas will fight and kill each other if kept in the same tank with other bettas. You can keep one by itself, or two if your tank has a divider.

No,God created male and female for reproduction and safeguard the society.If it is disturbed the whole set up will see a chotic movements among bettas to feel unhappy.

Because they're aggressive and may be harassed by other fin-nipping fish, male bettas are usually happy alone, but may be kept in a carefully chosen community tank.

Yes, males bettas would be happy when they love to swim around the tank and feel more happy when accompanied by some one.
