Yes, they can. Mange, or sarcoptic mange, is another term for Scabies. It is treated by a vet who will give the cat one shot a week for four weeks.

Sure. All animals could. Mange is caused by a parasite. You'll need to call your vet and ask for their suggestions. They may want to see your cat to be sure that is is mange. Then you'll be given medicines to treat it. Good Luck.

To cure a cat of mange, clip any long fur and bathe the cat with a gentle shampoo. Then, the cat is covered in a 2% or 3% lime sulfur dip (Lymdip). This must be repeated every 7 days until the mange is gone. This may take anywhere between 6 to 8 weeks.
