Can a cause of death be bipolar disorder?

No. Bi-polar disorder is a mental condition caused by variations in the body's chemical make up. Bipolar disorder is a condition that can cause other mental illnesses, but it can not be a direct cause of death. Some people with Bi-Polar disorder may be more susceptible to suicide or drug use, howeve,r if not properly treated.

Directly, no. A psychiatric condition generally can't kill you. It may, however lead someone to extremely dangerous risk-taking in a manic phase or suicidal ideation in the depressive phase.

Not usually. They could if they become so crazy that they cause harm on themselves or place themselves in danger.

It depends on how you view it. When you are biploar, you have a constant change of emotions. The only way that you could die from this disorder is if during the down side you get so depressed that you commit suicide. As well as other disorders from the depression.
