They will protect your garden only if there is an adequate amount of insects for them to eat. Once the bugs are gone, they will be too.

Yes from very small insects, but over all not a very effective method. In fact it may cause more problems than it is worth. They will burrow and this may cause problems in your garden.

Kangaroo belongs to the class Mammals and comes under the Sud-class called as marsupials. The Kangaroo's are extreme runners and they are herbivores in nature so as the diet is considered they will feed upon grasses and leaves therefore, the garden is surely not protected.

Yes, it is commonly believed that they can protect a garden. They do this by eating other insects that may harm the garden plants. They are not essential though. Simply using a horticultural spray may work and will be all you need to actually keep damage at bay. I suggest a spray.

Kangaroo rats will eat seeds of wild grasses and so may cut down on weed species. Insects are also part of their diet. Sadly they'll also eat green vegetation such as your vegetables and flowers.

They will eat insects and weeds so that is helpful. They also like to eat leaves and dig holes so that is not helpful. You should just get a spray to keep insects and weeds out of your garden. Any garden store will have many different types and brands to choose from.

a Kangaroo Rat Is actually a Pest Of The Garden as They Digg Holes and Consume almost everything In It. They Can Be quite a Bother. Your kangaroo rat can probably do a good job at eating small insects and slugs, but you may want to watch out for him helping himself to the vegetables or flowers. The rat will not protect against deer or rabbits, and may be slightly effective against small birds. You might want a scarecrow first.

Kangaroo rats can't do so because they are very small and a garden can be ruined by large animal. So kangaroo rats will be easily runned away or killed.
