Can I fix an air conditioner leak with epoxy?

The likelihood of fixing an air conditioner leak with epoxy would be remote to say the least. Because the unit is under pressure, repairing it with epoxy would seem to be rather hard. An alternative would be to remove all gas from the unit and repair the leak with solder.

No you can not. Most A/C refrigerant gas are corrosive or flammable and will eat away at the epoxy compound.

Yes, you should be able to seal the hole that you have with this type of sealer. Make sure you let dry.
