Some states have a law called right to cure, where as you are given a certain amount of time to resume the original contract payments, as well as, any back payments due on the vehicle and any towing storage, and reposession fees, that were incurred when the car was repossesed.

Yes, you can. You need to start by contacting your lender and working out terms to have the vehicle returned. Be prepared to pay any late fees or fines associated with the repossession. As bad as it might be remember that the lender would rather have you take the care back than to sell it at a loss. Good Luck

If it has not already been sold at auction you may be able to contact the bank who holds the lien on the vehicle and make payment arrangements with them.

If you pay enough cash then you should be able to get it back. However they will be reluctant to do so after that.

Depends on the lender, although if they will allow a chance for you to get it back you usually have to pay in full.

It will depend on local law, so you should check with the local sheriff's department to find out for sure.
