This will depend on the nature of the decals and the league you play in, but it is likely to arouse suspicion since people do play with banned bats that have been disguised. To be absolutely sure, you should consult your league's official rulebook of talk to an umpire.

You shouldn't because you would not want to suddenly start hitting the ball farther and have people thinking that beneath the decals is something like a nail or a tack that you are hitting the ball with to make it fly farther. The aggravation alone will not be worth the stickers and you will probably lose friends.

Yes you can . First you need to properly remove the old ones . clean the area then simply and carefull apply the new decals where you want to on the bat being carefull to not have air bubbles or rinkles in your new decals. put them on that way and have fun.

Yes, you can put new decals on a softball bat depending on the kind of bat you are using. If you are using a wooden bat, then no. Aluminum bats are okay though to put a decal on but you must let it sit for a little while. It will fall off if you put it on then play!

In most leagues, modifying the softball bat in any way is completely illegal. Unfortunately, that includes new decals that you might have.

If it is an aluminum bat, then there shouldn't be a problem, but not on wood. Check the regulations of your league.
