It depends on the year. Some Jaguar's is it suggested to run at 91 RON (regular fuel) whereas others suggest to run at 95 RON (premium). Check your owner's manual for what is best for your Jaguar or consult with your auto mechanic. It may not hurt to use 89, but it might not be what the manufacture recommends.

While the engine may technically start and run, you'll be running the risk of fuel detonation. One ping and your engine could suffer massive rod-bending damage. In other words, don't do it.

Yes. There is no reason not to run a Jaguar on regular octane fuel. Higher octane only raises the temperature that the fuel ignites and nothing more. Higher octane will burn cleaner and give higher coolant temps but doesn't really give you much in fuel mileage.

You can run the Jaguar on 89 octane fuel because all it is, is a higher octane and it will give you more horse power.

Any vehicle can be run on octane fuel, but in order to do this there are a lot of interior and exterior motor changes that need to be made to do this. The first thing that would have to be changed is the fuel rail from there the pistons and other interior motor parts.

Run it on whatever your manufacturer recommends you run it on. It will tell you in your owners manual and sometime on your emissions sticker. Never use a lower grade then recommended. You will get poor performance and mileage and may actually damage the engine. Lower octane can cause detonation in engine which stress your engine.

As long as the manufacturer state that this octane rating is safe to use in your engine then you can. Otherwise you risk damaging the engine. Using a lower rated gas reduces performance and can lead to detonation.

Unless the manufactures states that you can use this octane fuel then you should not use it. Running too low of a fuel octane can cause engine detonation the not only reduces power but can also lead to engine damage. Always use the recommend octane fuel for you particular engine and elevation.

You may run by octane fuel for shopping or any other local use only. It was not good for long drive and fast drive. Because the efficiency of the engine will be low for octane.

In car the fuel is the most important one and it is like the heart of a man. The fuel we use is not affect to the engine is must. Otherwise the engine should repair in a very short period and it is waste of money. This fuel is a good one to ask mechanics and be used is very safety.
