Can I still become a flight attendant with two misdemeanor shoplifting charges that are 3 years old?

It all depends on the state where the crime was committed. If you are not able to get the charge expunged make sure you reveal it on your application. Sometimes a person is denied employment not for the actual crime but for lying.

I have found that misdemeanors are usually not held against you when applying for a job. In the case of flight attendants the background check is a little stricter now than in the past but if you tell the employer of the convictions then it will probably not hurt your chances.
