Yes, but it can sometimes difficult. Frequently the life that single people lead is one that helps them meet new people,especially other single people. Married people often aren't looking for the same things. But friendships can thrive in any situation if you work at it.

Friendships normally aren't a result of marital status. If a married person and a single person has the same interests, it would be very easy for them to be friends.
