Can you drink O'Doul*s (beer) if you have major depression and high blood pressure.

These are questions for your doctor. Keep in mind that alcohol is a depressant. While people who drink believe alcohol lifts their spirits, this isn't true. Alcohol adds to the depression. Alcohol shouldn't be combined with most anti-depressants. Consider, too, that most alcoholics suffer from depression.

There are a number of drugs used to treat Major Depression, many of which preclude alcohol consumption. Alcohol is a depressant so it is not wise to drink when diagnosed with depression. Consult with your physician about alcohol consumption with regard to both conditions to be safe.

O'doul's is non alcoholic, so there is an extremely low dose of alcohol, less than one percent, so that shouldn't cause any issues with any medications you might be taking, though it does still have calories fyi.
