Yes. An infection can occur anywhere germs enter the body and proliferate past the point the immune system can handle. If you suspect an infection, go back to the doctor.

Yes you can. If they do something wrong or they don't treat the area that has been sewn up properly it won't heal right and it will cause you to get an infection. If you think you have an infection go back to your doctor right away in order to get this fixed.

The plastic surgery itsself wouldn't cause an infected nipple. However if the incisions made in the nipple are can become infected if not treated correctly.
