Can you give me some golf tips for chipping?

I'm kind of new at all this.

Hit a chip like a putt, straight back and straight through. If you have a short chip, address the ball with your hands slightly ahead of the ball, the strike will put backspin on the ball and stop it quicker. For longer chips, address the ball with your hands even to the ball to give it more roll. Good luck!

Make sure you get under the ball, and use the appropriate amount of club speed for how far you want the ball to travel.

The ball needs to be off of your back toe with your stance open. Use only enough loft to get the ball to the green and roll to the hole.

Chipping has the same stroke as putting only with an iron. You want the ball to fly a short distance and then roll. Take 3 practice swings sweeping the grass.
