Can you help me troubleshoot my PV-GS Panasonic camcorder that keeps turning it self off?

First, check to see if the camcorder has an "auto-off" or timer feature. If it does, make sure that it is set to not do that. Next, depending on how frequently your camcorder turns on and/or off, you may be dealing with a short in the wiring. If it gets worse over time, take it to a repair shop.

If your battery is showing a full charge, you likely have a faulty battery. Try replacing the battery with a new one and your problems should be solved.

It sounds like you are having a problem with the battery or a setting in the main menu. Try to restore the camera to factory settings.

Did you ensure that the battery has been firmly attached to the camcorder? Was the switch firmly switched to the ON position? Is the camcorder in power save mode? Did the light come on for the entire duration of battery charging? Did the battery feel warm after the charging process?
