Be sure to report the runaway to the police and provide any information that may be helpful, such as places where this teen may go and friends they may be staying with.

Contact your local law enforcement. Once the teen is picked up a no run order can be issued through the juvenile justice system to prevent future reoccurances.

She has some issues with you that she doesn't fell good about. It might not be all your fault. What ever way you and the teen are handling it isn't working. Best to get a third party that can look at both sides of the situation. Counseling is a must.

Think about the reason why they ran away. If you know where to find them, go talk to them where they are, don't offer to come home first and then talk. It is important to them that you listen and understand what they're going through. Remember you were once a teen as well, and their feelings have to be validated.

I would recommend contacting the police department, so they know, and put out flyers around your town (and speak with the youth as well).
