Yes, you can raise them in the United States. They are eligible for youth 4H and FFA projects. Milk is sweeter and higher in butterfat.

Yes you can. There is a group called ANDDA or American Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goat Association who will answer any questions on the subject. They also have their own website. These goats don't need anything fancy for raising them. In using the goats for milk, it usually only takes one or two of them to supply a family with milk.

Yes, you certainly can, and there are breed organizations you can get in touch with. They are a delightful miniature breed, easy to maintain. They have a lovely temperament, and are very good dairy goats. They are a very popular choice for hobby raisers in the US. Because of their size they are good for smaller homesteads.
