If they are allergies affecting the eyes, yes, the eye drops will work. The eye drops will not get rid of all other symptoms, however. You do not need to have a shot to get rid of these symptoms, though. You can use nasal sprays or allergy capsules that minimize a variety of allergy symptoms.

You can buy eye drops that soothe eye irritation caused airborne or contact allergens (e. g. hayfever, pet or dust allergies). However eye drops won't treat other symptoms such as nasal irritation or hives. Antihistamine tablets can be taken for these symptoms. If you suffer a very severe allergy, an adrenaline shot will be needed in the event of anaphylactic shock.

If you don't want injections you could always take tablets or medicine instead. Of course if you have a really life threatening reaction to something you'll need an epipen.

It depends on the allergy, but there are over the counter things that I have found more useful and there are pills for allergies. I have been put on 2 different allergy pills that when I take them both my allergies are much better. Talk to your doctor about trying combinations of the medicines.

If the allergy affects your eyes the eye drops might help. Eye drops just more or less soothe the eyes of allergies that might make you sneeze or your eyes water. The drops won't substitute for an injection.

There are many differnet eye drops for allergies. There are both OTC and prescription. My son uses simple Visine A when his eyes get really itchy and red. My husband uses OTC Zyrtec eye drops and they really help him.

Eye drops only help locally so it would only help to your itching eyes. You can seek for a second generation antihistamin for the rest of your allergy. Most of them are prescribed. You can purchase first generation antihistamins without prescription.

Yes you can, but be advised that they only work if you have an eye allergy or pink eye. For other allergies, it wont work.

There are many eye drops on the market that you can take for allergys. Opcon from balsh and lomb has a good one on the market that can give your eyes releaf form the redness and itching, and it may cost about $30.00. Something cheaper would be similasan that helps with pollen for $10. Even cheaper would be visine for $5.00.
