Could bumps on my skin be caused by stress?

Could be caused by an allergy or irritation or even some sort of skin disorder. Could be an underlying issue that is causing it also. See a doctor for help.

Yes, my son gets them all the time when he is feeling stressed or anxious. Our doctor refers to them as worry warts.

Bumps on the skin may be caused by extremely stressful situations. However, other reasons you may have bumps on your skin may be an allergic reaction (from a change in soap or laundry detergent) or even chemical burn from formaldehyde that may be present in new clothes.

When your body is experiencing stress it will affect the basic survival mechanisms and protection of the skin. Stress will aggravate itching. But will not cause for red bumps. So it is advised to avoid stress

Yes. Most people refer to them as hives. My infant son gets them when he throws tantrums. The doctor said it was because he was stressing himself out.
