Washington never had any kids with his only wife, Martha. He did, however, raise Martha's two children, John Parke Custis and Martha Parke Custis, whom she had had from a previous marriage. Some speculation exists about an illegitimate child that Washington may have had with a slave named Venus.

George and Martha Washington had no children together, but had two stepchildren from Martha's previous marriage. There are those who claim that Washington had a child with one of his brother-in-laws slaves, but this has not been proven.
