Do any insects other than butterflies come from cocoons?

Yes, there are a wide variety of moths that also come from cocoons.For example, the lunar moth is almost as pretty as it's butterfly cousins, with soft pastel colors on a light gray back ground.

Yes, many different insects do. For one, moths come from cocoons. Fleas, dobsonflies, antlions, caddisflies, and certain species of fly do as well. Cocoons are commonplace in the insect world.

There are quite a few different insects that come from coccoons besides butterflies. There are moths. Some flies start out as little worms and they eventually form a coccoon for a little while and then emerge as flies when they are ready. Other insects that come from coccoons are fleas, and antlions.
