Bullfrogs are nocturnal species and will be up throughout much of the evening. They do sleep and do so during the daytime for the most part. They will burrow in the mud and sleep for hours at time if they are not disturbed by any predators or anything like it.

Many types of frogs are more nocturnal creatures, and sleep during the day. Every creature sleeps, but not all do it at the same time.
