Yes,dogs get mosquito bites.Mosquitoes carry heartworms eggs and they spread the disease. When a mosquito bites your pet,the affected areas are usually the nose,ears and pads of the feet. even if the mosquito bites on its body it will not show up because of its thick fur.

Yes they can get them. They will bite anything with blood. Horses, dogs, cat, etc. I think since dogs do not really understand they just go about their business as normal. Sometimes they try and itch them. I really would not worry about it. Good question though. I hoe I was able to help you out.
