Do noline bifocals work well?

I am seriously considering getting them but want to hear other people's experiences.

They work wonderfully. I had noline bifocals for years and more recently have gone to noline trifocals. The biggest problem is getting used to them. They can cause difficulty with depth perception especially when going down stairs. Once you get used to that, you will love them.

Noline bifocal works well but it is very much difficult to get adopted for both vision and reading. At first it will be a torture to use it.

Noline or "progressive" Bifocals work well however make sure you pick the proper frame. The size of the frame has quite an impact on your satisfaction with the glasses. Too small of a frame reduces the usable viewing area in "noline" lens. Listen to your 'fitters' recommendations in this matter. Stay concerned with function rather than style.

Yes, I think they work really well. They don't have the annoying line you can see when you look down.

I have had noline bifocals for six years now. I wore regular glasses before that. The bifocals didn't look any different than my regular glasses. Nobody even knew I had bifocals. I did have a problem adjusting to bifocal glasses, the same as if they were lined lenses.
