A teenager is a grown up person. He/She needs his/her own privacy especially after the age of 15. For example, a teenager might feel a bit reserved or shy to change his/her clothes in the presence of his/her sibling. They need to have freedom to be alone to study well, to relax and to understand their responsibilities in a house.

If you want some peace and tranquility within the household, it is best to keep the fighting down to a minimum. The teen having their own rooms gives peace.
