Do they allow color blindness in the Army Rangers?

It has always been my dream to be an Army Ranger but I am colorblind.

No they don't. In fact, they don't let anyone who is colorblind into the army. It is for safety reasons. Most stuff that is hazardous is color coded and they don't want you to make a mistake that will hurt you or that could risk hurting others.

Don't listen to the other posters - you can be color blind and in the Army. It does depend on what combination of colors you cannot see. You may need to apply for a waiver, but I am color blind and served 10 years as an officer in the Army

When you apply you need to make them aware that you are colorblind. It all depends what colors are effected. Now adays the only thing that they will not allow is if you did not graduate from school or get your GED, or if you were convicted of a felon.
