Linux is an open source operating system software program and does not make CD players or hardware of any kind. However, if you are using a computer to play your audio CDs there are programs you can download which will play the CDs for you, much like iTunes would for PCs and Apple.

Linux is the name of a Unix-based open source operating system, it is not a manufacturer of CD players. If you are asking about CD player or burner compatibility with Linux operating systems, then the answer is that the vast majority of CD players or burners will work just fine.
