Have you ever planted seeds of a Gunnera Manicata?

How did it go?

Growing took a while, but they require boggy like conditions. Lots of water! They can be grown from seed or propagated by dividing the rhizome in the spring. They can be started in pots and transplated. Be wary of frost because it will kill them.

Gunnera has some impressive foliage, and will grow even in heavy clay soil, unfortunately it is also a quite invasive plant. Both its roots and top growth will spread rapidly.
