Help! My dog is randomly attacking other dogs!

Dogs are pack animals; they get along generally with other dogs. They are not interested in harming other animals unless there's some kind of problem. The breed of your dog, the breeding of your dog and your dog's history and training (or lack of) all contribute to aggressive behavior. See a trainer ASAP before you end up in court.

Take the dog to a trainer and try some obidience. Also exercise the dog more to drain out some of the energy.

You need to ensure that your dog is properly socialized with other dogs on a regular basis to help stop this.

It isn't random. Your dog is very territorial, and so he is protecting his territory. If you are walking him, put a muzzle on him so he doesn't harm people.
