I would buy a regular twin size so she can use it all the way up until she moves out. You can always buy different blankets as she gets older.

The best size bed for a small girl is a twin bed. It will guarantee she will have more play space in her room. A full size bed is good too because she can grow into it and you will not need to buy another for quite a while.
