Gauge thickness of sheet metal doesn't convert directly to millimeters or inches. Or rather, there is a direct conversion, but it varies due to what type of sheet metal you are considering. The gauge depends on what material you are considering. For instance, standard steel and galvanized steel would have different thicknesses for the same gauge (0.0478" and 0.0516", respectively.)

i dont really know the answer to that question so i dont think i could really help. But i really think it would be one point eight millimeters if mesured
