Unless your partner has given you reason in the past to be jealous then you should sit down together and discuss how you are feeling and why. Trust issues can cause jealousy to rear its ugly head. It never hurts a relationship to talk things out and clear the air.

I'm gonna agree with you that trust is the major reason of jealousy. If you trust someone then you wouldn't get jealous.  add a comment

My gosh I don't know if you are male or female cuz each gets jealous for different reasons. Men are so territorial and don't often trust other men with their women. Women get jealous because they quite often don't feel deserving or good enough or beautiful enough.

Jealousy quite often stems from low self esteem. Take some self esteem and confidence classes and learn to build yourself up. When you become confident in yourself you will not worry so much and jealousy will slide away. You don't have to control it you need to cure it.

Often times, jealousy is a sign of low self-esteem. So, to control jealousy, work on ways of building up your own self confidence.

The best way to control jealousy is to remain busy in work. If you are busy in work, you do not have idle time to think of non essentials. They say that an idle mind is the devil's workshop. If you keep brooding too long too often, you will feel more jealous.
