How can I do a pumpkin theme birthday party?

I would do either solid orange color tableware or find some Fall pumpkin tableware that's not Halloween specific. Use mini pumpkins to decorate, have a pumpkin theme cake, serve pumpkin dishes, desserts, etc. Search "Fall" or "Autumn" themes online.

I would start with getting orange themed tablecloths. Then you can get paper plates and paper cups with pumpkin faces on them! Get some orange streamers and hang them all over and you will be set!

First of all, you will need a pumpkin-shaped birthday cake. Small gourds, straw and vines can be used for table decorations and place settings. If the party is for children, orange balloons could be used for decoration as well.

I would suggest getting a small pumpkin for each child to decorate using crayons. Decorate the windows with differently decorated pumpkins. I would get one or 2 very large pumpkins and carve them for the front door entrance. Of course pumpkin soup would be a great choice for serving.
