Get your baby used to suckling from a bottle. Start with one bottle feeding a day until he is comfortable with it and then up it to two bottles a day. As long as he accepts the bottle then you can continue to replace breast milk feeding with bottle and formula feedings.

Begin with a slow and gradual replacement of breast milk with bottled milk. Bottled milk should be presented consistently and successively. Start by presenting breast milk in a bottle.

Apply a very small amount of neem leaf paste to the nipples before breast feeding. The very bitter taste of neem will make the child quit breast feeding on its own. On the bright side, neem is extremely good for health.

If your child has begun eating solids, simply breast feed after feeding with solid foods. Then switch to offering a sippy cut with the meal instead of breast milk.
