Older Westinghouse sewing machines tend to be worthless because for the amount you would have to spend to service the old one after being in storage for a long time, you could go and buy a new sewing machine that could do everything the old sewing machine did and more. So no one really wants older models.

You can go to antique appraisal and find out the value of an old sewing machine.To find the value of an old Westinghouse sewing machine by other makers simply go to eBay and run a few searches there .Write the word in Google or yahoo and find out the value and cost.

Well, you can get the machine appraised or you can also list it on ebay and see how much people are willing to bid for it.

You could try googling "Westinghouse sewing machine" to see if that brings up anything helpful. Why not try phoning or visiting local auction houses or if that is no use either, try phoning or e-mailing auctioneers further away.

of course you can get a new one, the idea is it's antique. "no one want older models" is an ignorant statement to antique collectors.
