An incubator can be used, or one can be made. It is important that the eggs remain warm at all times. They need to be rotated a few times a day. The eggs should be kept on a soft surface such as a towel in order to protect them from being broken.

Buy an incubator suitable for incubating poultry and maintain it at the correct temperature and humidity for your species of dove (this will require research). Alternatively natural incubation under other doves or pigeons which are incubating eggs would be easier.

It is not too expensive to purchase an incubator from your local bird supply store. Using one is the most sure fire way to successfully incubate dove eggs.

You need to buy a good incubator. It should have temperature control and regulator, humidification system, an automatic egg turner and a clear dome. You should turn the eggs around once every 4 hours (to prevent babies becoming deformed). Keep the temperature at 38 degrees Celsius and humidity at 51%.

There are 2 ways of incubating dove eggs, the "Natural incubation" and "Artificial incubation" natural incubation, the best incubator are the parents. The parents will maintain the correct temperature and humidity need by the artificial incubation,I found that the best incubator was made by Lyons.

The first thing you need to do is contacting someone about the proper temperature and time for incubation they will also be able to tell you how warm to keep the incubater aftr the babies have hatched you can also do a net search and it will pull good information for you.
