To lose 70 pounds you must be fully committed to the task. Make sure that you eat minimal fatty foods and do lots of exercise. Cardio is the best e. g. running and bike riding. Still eat a lot of food but make sure that it is healthy and not high in saturated fat.

That is a very difficult question to answer because it depends on what kind of person you are. Sometimes exercise helps (and different exercises affect different people differently) and sometimes a new diet. People I know have responded very favorably to Nutrasystem. You probably need both to lose seventy pounds.
