Listen to tapes of Irish natives reading literature. There are particular pronunciations as well as accenting and other nuances that are specific to the manner of speaking. Keep in mind that there are several different accents in Ireland, none of which sound like leprechauns. Most are lyrical and subtle.

I would hang around with a lot of Irish folk and see how they speak. Or better yet, take a holiday to Ireland and then you can be surrounded with the culture and see how they talk first hand. You could also take lessons with a dialect teacher to professionally learn.

Stay in Ireland for a period of time and copy the way they speak. Or rent movies with Irish people and practice sounding like them.
