How can I stop feeling excluded from my roommates?

They always hang out together, but I feel like I'm intruding.

I dont think you should push too hard. a friendship is not something you can force. I think you should be patient but calm and relaxed with them. In time, everyone should grow a little closer, and I think you won't feel like an outsider.

Why do you feel like you are intruding? Are you shy? Do they talk about subjects you aren't interested in? Maybe they're already friends, and you are the newcomer? Try talking to them individually. Maybe once they get to know you, they will invite you to join them.

First figure out why you feel this way. Maybe there's no reason for you to feel this way. You can speak to your roomates about how you feel.

Try inviting your roommates to do something so you do not feel like you are asking if you can join them. Suggest a walk around the block or a movie.
