How can you strengthen wrist tendons?

There are a lot of wrist conditions you can develop that I'd like to avoid.

There are a couple of exercises you can do. Using a squeeze ball is good, and also touch your thumb to your little finger.

Two things: Get some good grippers, such as the Captains of Crush models, and work on your grip. Then, get several sizes of rubber bands, and put them on the outside your fingers and extend your fingers outward. That will work the tendons and muscles involved in both closing and opening your hand. Do this several days a week.

Working the lower muscles of your arm provides additional support and therefore strength for your wrists. It is easy to do this using light weights and doing gentle wrist curls. Stand with your arms straight down in front of you, facing out the way. Hold a weight in each hand, bend your wrist towards your inner arm. Repeat.

Exercised to help prevent wrist injuries are arm curls with light weights and high repetitions. You have to build up your forearms too, with reverse curls, that is curls with the palms facing away from you, again low weight and high repetitions.
