With holes already in the fabric, draw the loop through, leaving the knot and tail out and make a single chain, continue on making one chain all the way around.

The easiest way to do this is to simply use a small crochet hook to poke through to fleece as you crochet.

Push a small sized crochet hook through the fleece. Pull the thread through the fabric. Work a single crochet above the hem. Do 3 or 4 single crochet and push the hook through the fabric again about 1/2 inch to the left of your original hole. Continue this all around the piece. For clean corners enter the fabric 3 times.
