How do I fix a tension clamp on my Dodge Ram?

First, remove the surpentine belt and then find the bolts that secure the tensioner, once you remove the bolts, the tensioner will come off easily. Now, to access the tensioner, sometimes the other components will have to be removed. To fix the problem, replace both the tensioner and the belt.

If this is about your surpentine belt system, remove the belt first. Next, locate the bolts that secure the tensioner. Remove those, and the tensioner should come off easily. Sometimes other components will have to be removed to access the tensioner. Replace the tensioner, replace the belt, and you this should fix the problem.

This is a tricky procedure that should only be done by a qualified machinate, make sure if you are certified know that dodge fitting needs less pressure the others.

this is how you fix a tension clap on your truck. you need to go buy a new clamp because you cant use a worn out one

By tension clamp I'm assuming a belt tensioner is the part in question. Remove belt then remove in most cases 1 bolt in center of pulley and remove tensioner.
