How do I fix a vacuum hose leak on my Tahoe?

You can have the hose repaired if it is metal by getting it sawed together which can be done for under 150.00 at a welding shop.

To fix a leaking hose all you need to do is find the leak and replace the hose. It helps if you can find a vacuum line diagram online or in a repair manual. Just go over all the hoses feeling for holes and listening for a leak.

Well the obvious thing to do is find the hose and replace it. You could try patching it but there is a good chance it will start to leak again. A hose should be pretty cheap and it shouldn't take to long to fix.

Find the hose that is causing the leak, and purchase a new one at a local auto store. They sell hose by the foot, just bring the old one in.

First, try to locate the leak. Feel for holes and then patch it up. If that is to difficult, your best alternative is to replace the hose.
