How do I fix a weak spark from a faulty impulse generator?

Well you should just replace the generator. If that is what the problem is the isn't anything you can do to improve it if it doesn't function correctly.

there is probably a magnet that generates the pulse. if the pulse is weak, look at that magnet and follow the wires coming off of it and make sure that they are not damaged in any way. Then the worst case, you could simply replace the entire generator and wire harness.

One, simply replace the generator or inspect it closely, look for any faulty cables coming from the harness. If they all seem secure and tight then differ to option one.
