Depending on what the problem of the pipes are located, you may be able to get away with it with some tighting of the pipes as well as some lube. You may also can get pluming cleaner if there is something that is caught on the plumbing pipes. If this does not work I would hire a professional.

Moaning pipes need to have the air flushed out by closing off the main line and flushing the toilets and running all faucets til dry.
