How do I knit a scalloped edge?

The only way to complete this type of pattern is to cross back instead of the normal cross ahead pattern. I have found this helps.

Usually when you are making that it is knit one slip two then one over knit one one over knit one and as you go it will create the scallop. You can also do a net search and it will give you even more hints and tips for it as well.
