If they are too cold they will fluff up their feathers to help trap in warm air close to their bodies.

Yes, birds can get cold. Some birds will shiver when cold but you shouldn't let them get that way. Keep the room where the bird is kept at a comfortable temperature. Average room temperature like 70-72 degrees is a good because both you and your bird will be comfortable.

Your bird is cold if it's head is real close to the body and feathers are fluffed up. They may also be really still in one spot or try and seek out a warmer part of their environment.

Birds do not catch colds. But they do get serious respiratory issues. If your birds has wet sneezes and you are seeing the mucus and runny nose, you need to get him to an Avian vet or at least a vet who has a lot of experience working with birds.

Yes, certainly, Birds will be affected with cold. Birds if they are severely damped in the rain will be affected with cold. Often cleaning its peak, shaking body with feathers, vigorously shaking head often - are the symptoms that the bird is affected with cold. When they feel sun for sometime, automatically it will be cured.
