How do I troubleshoot an S10 alternator fuse problem?

If the fuse keeps blowing out you probably have a alternator putting out to much power popping the fuse. Replace with a used alternator after putting a tester on.

Test the alternator for electrical issues on local auto parts store. Check whether any odd sounds coming form alternator. A ticking sound is caused by electrical fault. Then check alternator ground wire attached to the engine block. S10 alternators have internal voltage regulator which can also damage too.

I would first start by checking to see it you have a good ground on the circuit that fuse is popping on.
