Open the CPU box and attach hard drive to mother board via buses(cables). Then check BIOS whether hardware is detected or not. If not change the hard drive jumber settings to attach hard drive in master or slave mode.
First determine what type you need. If you use the same kind as thee current one it should plug right int the factory wiring. The just mount it and format.
