You basically need to learn proper relaxation techniques in order to cure a "nervous" stomach. This can usually be done through proper deep breathing techniques. Stomachs are very susceptible to high levels of stress, and digestion is affected by this. Monitor your breathing throughout the day, and try taking some time to practice breathing deeply.

Peppermint tea can be good for a nervous stomach as it relaxes the muscles in the digestive system. Another option is relaxation or hypnotherapy sessions or tapes that can teach you to relax more so you don't get as nervous.

The most direct way to treat a nervous stomach is to work on reducing your anxiety in general. Breathing exercises and yoga both can lower blood pressure and give you a sense of control over your anxiety. Also, certain foods are more easily digested than others. Eat bland food with a good amount of fiber, but not too much.

Calm a nervous stomach by sipping gingerale or making ginger tea. Ginger itself has a property in it that reduces the anxiety or motion in the stomach.
